Hello Verbling! "Speak a new language so that the world will be a new world." - Rumi I'm a passionate and dedicated lover of English, people and our planet. I believe that learning should be student-centric so I will make any lesson that you book with me focus on your specific needs and interests. My methodology is based on the Principled Communicative Approach, and I believe that connection is one of the key components to developing one's language skills. I cover exam preparation, relocation language and Business English, however, I also teach conversational classes, academic writing and address literature and thematic writing. I previously worked as a high school teacher, in a multilingual context, teaching English as Home Language, and then as a Second Language to teenaged students. Hello! I am excited to join you at Verbling! First I will tell you a bit about my academic background and tutoring experience. I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I have also worked as a tutor for a number of years. I have loved tutoring in all subjects up to the college level. My favorite subject to teach has always been English. I enjoy helping with writing, developing conversational skills, and improving reading. I have worked with a number of ESL students from various countries including Japan, Korea, Brazil, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. It has been a joy to conduct these lessons with my students, and I look forward to all the future ones to come!
