Hello! My name is Mr. Kat Rogan. I am a native English speaker from the United States and I have been a professional language trainer for over 14 years for all age groups and levels of learning. I started teaching English in China at Dalian Maritime University in 2006. Since that time I have traveled to many countries, and have met and talked to just about every nationality you can think of. As and traveler, educator, and avid learner, the biggest thing I can say I have discovered about myself during this time: I really love languages and cultures. For me, learning languages and about people and their heritage is the "spice of life." This is what truly drives me to be a better person, keep moving forward, and improve at all levels of my life - every day. It's interesting, during these travels and experiences of the past decade-and-a-half, I have learned how to say basic concepts and greetings in at least 10 languages, which is a lot of fun and a big talking point in my day...

Hello! I'm from Iowa, USA, and I live in Brittany, France. My approach to language learning is to always keep lessons engaging and communicative, based on your real-life interests. I'm here to encourage and motivate you, and to help you reach your goals! My lessons are conversational and relaxed, but I offer reading and exercises as homework. I take notes during lessons so that we can review and upgrade our language together, paying attention to patterns in grammar and pronunciation. I received my degree in English in 2016, and my Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Cambridge) in 2019. I spent one year in France as a self-employed English tutor while studying French. I teach children as young as 6 years old, and welcome students of any age and level. Please take a trial lesson to start. This benefits both the student and tutor so we can develop lessons based on your level and needs. We can develop a learning plan tailored to you! *** Bonjour! Hello Friend! I hope you're having a great day! My name is Brent and I am from Santa Rosa, California. My hometown is in the California wine country, a beautiful place with outstanding weather. I have lived in Japan for thirteen years. I lived in Osaka for one year and then moved to Tokyo. I came to Japan because I am a poet and I love haiku. Japan is a wonderful country that has changed me in many positive ways. And the sushi...wow. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Poetry with a Minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. My interests include haiku, hiking, comedy, studying Japanese, reading, food, traveling, baseball, and music. I am a very curious person and I enjoy learning about others' hobbies and interests. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges involved with learning languages, which helps me address student concerns and needs ...

My name is Nico and I'm American. Please see my resume for the specific details of my qualifications and experience as a TEFL teacher. I have a lot of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults, most of whom went on to take CEFR exams (whether British Institutes, IELTS, or Cambridge). Because of this experience, and also the experience of running my own school, I have a good sense of how fast students can develop their language skills and how to keep moving forward in the process of language learning. For me, it is essential that students are well-rounded, which means they need to work on the various parts of a language – reading, listening, speaking, pronunciation, writing, and grammar. Unfortunately, a lot of students focus on one or two of these areas at school, leaving gaps in their education. It’s important to have lessons completely in English, but it does help reduce a student’s stress level at times if they are completely stuck and can revert back to their origin...

NOTE: I offer 1 free lesson for every 10 lessons taken!! Hello everyone! I am teacher from the USA who is passionate about teaching English as a second language. I always look forward to delivering the best lessons that I can and I always do my best to try and learn from each and every experience. I graduated from University back in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. From there I decided I wanted to travel a bit and looked at ways in which I could do that. I came across the idea of teaching English as a second language. I decided to get a CELTA certification because I read about how prestigious is is in the ESL world. In 2014 I received my Pass B CELTA certification and was ready to start teaching. Currently I am progressing my CELTA certification even further by becoming DELTA certified. In April of 2015 I finally found a job that I felt comfortable with and decided to go for it! I ended up in Arequipa, Peru thinking I was only going to be here for three months. After...
