Hello! Welcome. Teaching is a journey and on this journey I've met the most fascinating students from all over the world - over 50 countries. Teaching is my passion! I studied foreign languages 38 years ago at Florida Atlantic University. In my 37 years of teaching experience, I have taught English as a Second Language and Spanish to adults of all ages. I'm bilingual English/Spanish. I'm from the United States and I also lived in Seville, Spain. I'm now living in Ecuador and I love it! I live in a beautiful small town near Chicago. I have taught English since 2013. I started in Europe for 4 1/2 years. I have taught in private language schools and in private lessons face to face and on Skype. My approach to teaching is practice practice practice!!! I lived in Madrid , Spain for two years before moving to Milan, Italy ten years ago. I've been teaching English to foreigners for almost 20 years. I started doing it as a part time job during the summer holidays as I was teaching in a school the rest of the year and it became my full time job when I moved to Spain. I've taught students who didn't speak a word of English when they started and even students who were perfecting their language skills at an advanced level. I have completed various courses, like TEFL and Teaching ESL students in mainstream classrooms. I am also very fluent in Italian mainly because I've watched Italian TV most of my life, I studied it till an advanced level and obviously because I live here!
