Hi! My name is Pierce and I'm a young and passionate English & German teacher with nearly SEVEN YEARS of EXPERIENCE. I focus on BUSINESS ENGLISH & ACCENT TRAINING, but I'm happy to help you with any of your English needs. During my undergraduate years, I worked with the American English Institute working mostly with students from China and the Middle East. During our lessons we covered reading, writing, grammar, as well as American culture and how to use language in our daily lives. Since then I have worked with different online tutoring agencies, as well as Speaking Agency, a tutoring service for business professionals based in France. I have also taught German language to beginners for a few years now and have had much success doing it! I believe language is best learned by practice with a native speaker, and I encourage students to share about their interests in English so they can be more comfortable in a foreign language. I am a big believer in giving the student an opportunity to speak, so I try and ask a series of questions that can lead to a discussion where the student has a chance to formulate his thoughts in English. In addition, my biggest passion in life is traveling, I have lived in several continents and visited over 45 countries in the world. Some of my favorite destinations have been Costa Rica, Ukraine, Slovenia, and Indonesia.
