I’m Kevin Palmer. in 2002, at my first teaching job, I had a student named Ning. Ning was wonderful. She was intelligent, friendly, and she worked hard. Every day she studied English textbooks for 4 hours! She tried to remember 50 new vocabulary words every day! But, after 6 months of hard work, she still could not speak. Sadly, this was true for all of the students in the class. I felt terrible. So I asked other teachers for help. But they had the same problem.. very few of their students improved either. That’s when I realized something was wrong– something is wrong with normal English teaching methods. I wanted to help all of the happy, friendly, intelligent, wonderful students like Ning– and I decided I would find an answer. I would find a way to help my students speak English powerfully. For many years, I studied books about English teaching. I constantly tried new methods in my classes. I read research studies. Eventually, I found incredible new methods. I was so excited! ...

Hello Verbling! "Speak a new language so that the world will be a new world." - Rumi I'm a passionate and dedicated lover of English, people and our planet. I believe that learning should be student-centric so I will make any lesson that you book with me focus on your specific needs and interests. My methodology is based on the Principled Communicative Approach, and I believe that connection is one of the key components to developing one's language skills. I cover exam preparation, relocation language and Business English, however, I also teach conversational classes, academic writing and address literature and thematic writing. I previously worked as a high school teacher, in a multilingual context, teaching English as Home Language, and then as a Second Language to teenage students. I understand how development affects learning retention and how to best adapt to a variety of ages. I was a school teacher for eight years, and some of my former students are now published aut...

Hi, I'm Peter and I teach English. I'm South African born, I've taught at various schools and lived in many countries in the ASEAN, especially Laos, Thailand and Indonesia. I want to help you achieve your purpose and open the world to you, by improving your English. Yes English is the key and we can improve your future by studying English and improving your pronunciation and hearing in conversations. You will be able to watch American movies and enjoy them. You will become part of the international English speaking community. We can have conversations about the subjects of your interest and develop your life with English becoming an asset in your life. I personally use interactive teaching as application gives awareness of use of the language and as you make use of the language it becomes a reality and grows in usage. I know we must be goal orientated so that you can achieve your purpose with learning English, I hope to see you soon so that we can plan your studies together. I've...

I have 30+ years of experience teaching English as a Second Language. I have taught all levels; from basic to advanced grammar and conversation, as well as business English and pronunciation. I especially enjoy helping you with the more difficult aspects of English grammar so that you can improve your ability to speak and write more precisely. I have a particular passion for teaching pronunciation. I always design my lessons specifically for you, based on your skill level and your goals. I believe that language learning is a lifelong process of discovery. As you learn the language, you learn the culture, and vice versa. My role as your teacher is to provide the rules and patterns of English, give you many opportunities to practice what you are learning, provide correction and suggestions for improvement, and continuous feedback on your progress. I have taught overseas in the Peace Corps in South Korea and in the United States at language schools, the World Bank, the Inte...
