I am a qualified native English tutor. My qualifications include a Highschool Senior Certificate (A-Levels) and a Diploma In Nature Conservation/Sciences at the Technical University of Tshwane (South Africa). I also possess a TEFL qualification obtained from T.I.E.S - The International English School in Cape Town. I have taught English privately as well as in Schools for 3 years. I also taught Life skills to adolescents for 4 years in English. I have also done ESL Online teaching for two years now. I lived in Madrid , Spain for two years before moving to Milan, Italy ten years ago. I've been teaching English to foreigners for almost 20 years. I started doing it as a part time job during the summer holidays as I was teaching in a school the rest of the year and it became my full time job when I moved to Spain. I've taught students who didn't speak a word of English when they started and even students who were perfecting their language skills at an advanced level. I have completed various courses, like TEFL and Teaching ESL students in mainstream classrooms. I am also very fluent in Italian mainly because I've watched Italian TV most of my life, I studied it till an advanced level and obviously because I live here!
