Hello! I'm Laura, and before moving to Guam, I lived in beautiful Alaska for six years and northeastern Thailand for three years. Before living in Thailand, I lived and taught in Maryland. I have been teaching for 15 years both online and in person. I am passionate about creating custom lessons in order to help students achieve their goals. I specialize in academic writing, conversational English, and test preparation for adults and teens. I also love to travel and learn new things about the world we live in. A native British English speaker, I have been passionate about language learning since school. I studied Modern Languages at university in the UK, and continue to study Spanish, so understand the challenges of language learning from the student's perspective too. I did Cambridge CELTA teacher training at the end of 2016 (after years of informal teaching) and worked for two years in Colombia, with a wide variety of business, university, school and private students.
