Hello, I am a native English speaker (British) and have been teaching English since 2008. I am Celta and Delta qualified and am a trained Cambridge speaking examiner. I have lots of experience with general and business English at all ages and levels. I have taught monolingual and multilingual classes in many countries including Ecuador, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Australia. I am bilingual, I speak Spanish fluently. I studied French and German at school and have picked up some Portuguese over the years. I am currently learning Italian. My teaching demeanor is friendly, calm, professional and patient. I have a wide range of interests including: travelling, cooking, photography, psychology, philosophy, science, politics, health and fitness, business and art. I tailor my lessons so that they reflect my students' needs, wants and interests. I am looking forward to helping more students improve their English.

Most English lessons focus on grammar or repeating phrases you’ll never actually use. We focus on the topics, conversations, and situations that matter to you right now. When you get stuck, I give you the right word or phrase in the moment so you can keep speaking naturally. We don’t stop for long explanations — we keep the conversation alive and real. Over time, these moments stack up into language you actually own, because you needed it for something real. You’ll stop second-guessing yourself and start speaking English with confidence.
