Hello, my name is Stéphane. I am half- French, half-American. I was born and raised in Paris. I attended a bilingual school there, before obtaining a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Yale. I currently reside in the south of France, where I work as a language teacher. I have been teaching full-time for the past 8 years. I have interacted with close to 300 students and taught about 10,000 hours of classes. Although English makes up the bulk of my lessons, I have a fair amount of experience teaching French as well, I use a structured approach based on books. I am a French native teacher and I think that to learn French with a native speaker is the best way to get a great accent and to discover the culture. I graduated at the University of Canterbury in England. And after that, I worked as a french assistant in Canterbury school for 3 years. In Portugal where I am living now, I have been teaching french language in private lessons for 3 years. I give lessons from basic to advanced level.
