Y a ti ¿qué te gusta? Si te animas aprenderemos en un grato ambiente conociendo el idioma y las culturas francófonas desarrollando tus competencias oral y escrita...

"Il n'y a pas de hasards, il n'y a que des rendez-vous" (Paul Eluard) Hello, my name is Rodolphe, I am a French teacher. I lived and taught in Paris for a long time, but today I teach in a foreign country, in a famous French Institute. My program is widely inspired by the CEFR, the Common European Framework for language teaching, which has essentially an action-oriented approach to this learning. "Action" means, for the learner, to be faced with real-life situations, of daily life, like shopping, talking about the weather, expressing an emotion for example. The program that I set up for face-to-face in e-learning is based on a very large number of audio and written documents, drawn from different methods that I use daily to teach French in Lisbon. Working on these documents will allow you to be plunged in real-life situations, as if you were in a French-speaking country. Depending on the student’s project, I can target a specific skill, such as preparing for the DELF- DALF, im...

I'm 33 years old and I'm half French and half German. I'm a native speaker of both languages, grew up in both countries, and have dual citizenship. My interest in American culture motivated me to start learning English by myself when I was a teenager. After a few years I reached a native speaker level and acquired a nearly perfect accent by having frequent conversations and constantly watching content in English. Since then, language learning has become my main passion in life. My success with English motivated me to do the same with Japanese, Korean and Mandarin Chinese. After having lived in Japan and Korea for several years, I reached an advanced level in both languages. What my students consistently appreciate about me is that I'm a great conversationalist and listener, but also my international background (especially for English speaking and Asian students), my extensive teaching and learning experience (fluent in 5 languages) and my ability to make my students feel confide...

Having grown up in a multilingual environment, multilingualism has always been a part of my everyday life, and I've embraced this fully! On top of my native French and English, I'm fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Danish and can get by in quite a few other languages. I am passionate about language and teaching and know what it's like to be both a learner and a teacher. This gives me valuable insight and means I am patient and understanding of the many challenges that come with learning a new language. I'm also well-travelled and enjoy learning about new cultures. I enjoy helping people, be it with languages, tourist information or finding the right language book! Having studied Geography, Hispanic Studies and Translation at university, as well as having self-studied Linguistics means that I am knowledgeable about a variety of topics related to language and culture.
