I am a professional online Russian, Hebrew and English teacher. I am 28 years old. I was born in Russia and in 1999 I have immigrated to Israel. In 2013 I have graduated from Tel Aviv University, where my major was English Literature and French Culture. I have been teaching languages for 8 years already to both children and adults of all ages and levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced. I believe that learning new languages involves more than just learning grammar rules. As I see it, learning new languages also involves learning about new cultures, traditions, literature, history, music and even cuisine. I always try my best to stucture our lessons in a creative way, so you could both learn new things and enjoy. I have a wide range of interests such as sports, literature and music. I also like traveling and meeting new people. In addition, I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, which helps my in teaching as well. My lessons are typically based on your demands and requirements. So, the first lesson will include planning out a course and discussing what you want to get out of English classes: * We can have a simple conversation on a specific topic you are interested in. OR * We can have structured lessons which will include learning grammar and practicing your writing skills. I am especially good at working with teenagers and children. :) In any case, I am really looking forward to meeting you soon! I have a flexible schedule which makes me available during the morning and the evening hours of the day both on weekdays and weekends.

Shalom! I am a native Hebrew speaker, with Israeli Teaching Certificate. I hold a PhD degree from at SOAS, University of London, and my dissertation focused on Israeli society, Israeli diaspora and diasporic Hebrew. Apart from teaching, I am also an author, and I published two books so far, fiction and non fiction. I'm friendly, organized and motivating teacher, with more than 10 years of teaching experience (in Israel, UK, Germany, in schools, after-school programs and universities and in Skype with students from Russia, Canada and the UK). Teaching Experience: I started teaching during my national service, and I was teaching Hebrew to Palestinian kids in Lod and to migrants in South Tel-Aviv. I later gained a teaching diploma from the "Kibbutz Seminar Collage" in Tel Aviv. After moving to London to study for my PhD at SOAS, I have had the opportunity to teach academic courses as a Teacher Assistance at the university. I also worked part time teaching Hebrew at the New London Synagogue. I worked there with kids on a Sunday school, and with adults going through Conversion to Judaism Hebrew program. In the past 4 years I have been living in Germany, where I opened the first International Hebrew School. I work with students from all over the world, using materials I have developed over the years. Teaching Approach: I strongly believe in learning while using materials and topics that are related to the students, which is why I prepare different classes and different reading material for each of my students. Students will not need to buy an expensive Hebrew book, and I will provide all work materials. I always have a first meeting or talk with my students, understanding where he or she stands, what is their level, why do they need Hebrew (for research? for family? religious reasons?) and I structure my classes based on the needs and the objective of the students. If you choose to start a Hebrew course with me you will be required to do homework each week and dedicated yourself to learning. A new language requires time and commitment!
