Hello everyone! Since you're probably here to choose a teacher from among hundreds, let me share a helpful tip: one of the strongest signs of of student satisfaction is the average number of lessons per student. How do you calculate it? Simply divide the total number of lessons a teacher has given by the number of students who have taken at least a second class. Verbling is especially helpful here, as it’s the only platform that clearly displays this statistic on each teacher’s profile. (In my case, you’ll see I have around 56 lessons per student: this number is calculated by Verbling, taking into account only those students who took at least one class after the trial class) To sum up: if you avoid teachers with a low average, you're much more likely to enjoy a positive and rewarding learning experience. Wishing you all the best in your learning journey — and if you choose me, see you soon! 🤗 About me Hello! My name is Valerio, and I’m a native Italian speaker, born and raised in...

Hi! I'm an Italian tutor with a long background in language teaching. I started teaching Italian in my twenties at a small private school in Germany and have been working in education ever since. I'm a certified foreign language teacher (Cambridge Assessment), and for the past 10+ years, I’ve been teaching and evaluating language programs across West Asia. My teaching style is practical and engaging. I focus on teaching the language in chunks—so you learn real, useful expressions from day one. We’ll use lots of repetition and targeted drills to help new structures stick. I also use a mix of tech tools and apps to make learning more varied. I follow a flipped classroom approach, which means you’ll get plenty of hands-on practice during our sessions, and materials to explore on your own time. Whether you're just starting out or want to sharpen your skills, I’ll support you every step of the way!

I was preparing a lesson for a student of mine, when I found myself struggling with a translation. The word was “cavare”. «Pull out» I thought. But then… was there a better word? “Cavare”, in Italian, doesn’t only mean “to pull out”, that would be “estrarre”, “tirar fuori”, “rimuovere” or something else. “Cavare” has the word “cavità” (cavity) in it. “Cavare” means “to extract from a cavity”, “to remove and leave a cavity” and I couldn’t find a single word in English that suited the perfect meaning. This happens to me all the time, as I speak three languages daily and I am a “word perfectionist”: I am fascinated by the meaning that every word can have, those little shades of significance that can only be understood by those who profoundly study a language. And that is what I do: I study, all the time, to speak each of my three languages at its best, and I teach, to make my students learn properly the meaning of words and their best combination. My name is Cindy and I am a langua...

Hi, My name is Tina and I live in Rome. I have two degrees one in Italian Literature Philosophy and another in Art History. I taught Italian to children of all ages, I really enjoyed teaching but I accepted a job offer to become a civil servant for Rome City Hall, looking after the Roman heritage and becoming the director of the Medicine History Museum of Rome. I have recently retired and with some spare time in my hands, I went back to my true vocation: teaching. I now teach Italian to students whose first language is not Italian. I have students mainly from France, UK, and USA who are, for different reasons, in Italy and need to learn the language. Well, I can't wait to get started! 🙂 🇮🇹

I'm Ivana and I'm Italian! I live between Spain and Italy! I speak Italian, English, Spanish, German and a little French too. I love to travel and change my perspective, so I can better understand other cultures. I have been teaching Italian for ten years with great passion! I have a degree in Linguistics, Technology, and Didactic Languages, and I'm a lover of new technology! So I decided to join my passions and create dynamic and original lessons that are fun and perfect in online mode. Another passion? Photography, reading, nature, and art! My teaching method consists of dynamic lessons built on real and authentic experiences to guarantee maximum communication for students. For me, speaking to people is an essential part of any communication process. But I organize my lessons into tasks like comprehension, reading, and writing. Together we can improve your linguistic skills and improve your fluency in Italian! =)

Ciao, I am Christian and I am a native Italian teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience. I have the privilege to have lived in Italy, where I was born, in Australia and now in Argentina. In Italy, I became a teacher and started to work in schools, but it was in Australia, and after in Argentina, where I could really gain experience in teaching my native language to people from all around the world. Based on my experience, most students of all ages start to learn when they get involved not only in the grammar, but also in the real cultural context of my country in an entertaining and relaxed environment. I personally prepare the material for my students and send it to them every week. All my lessons have a strong focus on communication and listening.
