Ciao, my name is Giulia, I'm an Italian teacher and I've been teaching for 6 years already. My lessons are interactive, and therefore we will practice a lot through conversation which will help you to gain confidence in communicating and understanding Italian in typical “everyday scenarios”, and most important we will learn the Italian language using a cultural approach more than an academic one, without, however, neglecting the study of grammar and pronunciation. During every lesson, we will travel among our “Bella Italia” discovering its music, flavours, customs, traditions, history and art, all the treasures that distinguish us from the rest of the world. We will combine business with pleasure: it will be fun to study Italian together.

Hi, I'm Viviana! I come from Southern Italy and I now call Amsterdam my home. Years ago, I was given a wonderful opportunity: to make a real difference in the lives of refugees in my region and that experience changed everything for me. It became the spark that launched my career as a language teacher. Since 2013, I have been a passionate, certified DITALS Italian language teacher. But I'm also a language learner myself, so I truly understand what it feels like to be on your side of the table! I have many interests, mostly creative ones, and people often describe me as patient, funny, and easygoing. In my lessons, the main focus is speaking, while keeping an eye on vocabulary, grammar, and culture, because language only comes alive in context. Teaching a language is my way of connecting with other cultures and discovering more about the world through words. Through the Communicative Language Teaching method, you'll be fully immersed in Italian from day one — speaking your very first...

INTERACTIVE SUPPORT MATERIAL Hi, I'm Federica from Rome. I have a degree in Italian Language and Literature and a master in Communication Theories. I'm DITALS certified (Teaching of Italian as a Foreign Language). I'm a mother tongue teacher of Italian and using the communicative method, that aims at developing and privileging the communicative skills of the student. In this new perspective, knowing a language means being able to carry out communicative actions to accomplish a goal. It’s a method that makes learning easier and faster. I also use the completely free and interactive support material I tailored for our online lessons and a test to evaluate your level of Italian competence. This material, divided into units, will help you during the lesson and we will use it for the exercises. In each unit, the student learns to carry out one or more communication actions and exercises with conversation (which i leave plenty of room for), grammar, listening, pronunciation and w...
