Hi! My name is Costanza, and I’m here on Verbling to teach Italian. I strongly believe in the therapeutic and cognitive benefits of learning a foreign language: learning a new language is not just an intellectual challenge, but also a way to stimulate the mind, improve memory, and open hidden doors within ourselves and towards the world. It’s a journey that allows us to create deep connections between cultures and people, overcoming seemingly insurmountable individual and cultural barriers.
For me, this is a never-ending adventure!
In my lessons, students are the main focus: your goals and needs will shape the content and activities. I’m here to make your learning experience effective and enjoyable by providing authentic materials, targeted activities, and constant feedback to help you achieve your objectives.
I’ve had the privilege of teaching students of all ages and backgrounds: from asylum seekers to tourists, foreign workers, and students in Spain, where I collaborated with ...

Hello! I am a professional teacher with a LM degree and years of online teaching experience with adults and children aged eight and over. During our classes we can focus on different activities depending on your level and your needing. For example I can offer you a targeted course to prepare an Italian exam, teach you Italian starting from the basics, help you improve your level and make conversation.
Some of the activities we can focus on are: grammar, conversation, exercices and vocabulary. I usually arrange for the student to put the rules into practice immediately through guided conversations and exercices. However my method is flexible and can vary depending on the student’s preferences and needs.
During my experience I have been enjoying teaching and learning other languages myself. I believe that the process of learning languages is also a path of personal growth that leads us to meet new people, explore new cultures and visit different countries. All great reasons to star...

INTERACTIVE SUPPORT MATERIAL Hi, I'm Federica from Rome. I have a degree in Italian Language and Literature and a master in Communication Theories. I'm DITALS certified (Teaching of Italian as a Foreign Language). I'm a mother tongue teacher of Italian and using the communicative method, that aims at developing and privileging the communicative skills of the student. In this new perspective, knowing a language means being able to carry out communicative actions to accomplish a goal. It’s a method that makes learning easier and faster.
I also use the completely free and interactive support material I tailored for our online lessons and a test to evaluate your level of Italian competence. This material, divided into units, will help you during the lesson and we will use it for the exercises. In each unit, the student learns to carry out one or more communication actions and exercises with conversation (which i leave plenty of room for), grammar, listening, pronunciation and w...

I was preparing a lesson for a student of mine, when I found myself struggling with a translation. The word was “cavare”. «Pull out» I thought. But then… was there a better word? “Cavare”, in Italian, doesn’t only mean “to pull out”, that would be “estrarre”, “tirar fuori”, “rimuovere” or something else. “Cavare” has the word “cavità” (cavity) in it. “Cavare” means “to extract from a cavity”, “to remove and leave a cavity” and I couldn’t find a single word in English that suited the perfect meaning.
This happens to me all the time, as I speak three languages daily and I am a “word perfectionist”: I am fascinated by the meaning that every word can have, those little shades of significance that can only be understood by those who profoundly study a language.
And that is what I do: I study, all the time, to speak each of my three languages at its best, and I teach, to make my students learn properly the meaning of words and their best combination.
My name is Cindy and I am a langua...

Hi, My name is Tina and I live in Rome.
I have two degrees one in Italian Literature Philosophy and another in Art History.
I taught Italian to children of all ages, I really enjoyed teaching but I accepted a job offer to become a civil servant for Rome City Hall, looking after the Roman heritage and becoming the director of the Medicine History Museum of Rome.
I have recently retired and with some spare time in my hands, I went back to my true vocation: teaching. I now teach Italian to students whose first language is not Italian. I have students mainly from France, UK, and USA who are, for different reasons, in Italy and need to learn the language.
Well, I can't wait to get started! 🙂 🇮🇹

Hi! I'm Valentina and I'm a professional Italian teacher with a great passion for foreign languages (especially Spanish, my favourite one!). I currently live near Rome but I lived in Spain and Argentina: in fact, I really love travelling and discovering new places, cultures and food. I have been teaching Italian to foreigners since 2014 when I got the DITALS level II certification from the University for Foreigners of Siena. My classes are completely focused on the students' needs with an action-oriented approach: they are encouraged to "make with the language" without w...

Ciao,
my name is Giulia, I'm an Italian teacher and I've been teaching for 6 years already.
My lessons are interactive, and therefore we will practice a lot through conversation which will help you to gain confidence in communicating and understanding Italian in typical “everyday scenarios”, and most important we will learn the Italian language using a cultural approach more than an academic one, without, however, neglecting the study of grammar and pronunciation. During every lesson, we will travel among our “Bella Italia” discovering its music, flavours, customs, traditions, history and art, all the treasures that distinguish us from the rest of the world. We will combine business with pleasure: it will be fun to study Italian together.

My speciality is indeed languages, in fact I have a diploma in Languages.I also obtained a certificate of internship in teaching Italian as L2
I offer Italian conversation lessons to anyone who wishes to learn, improve and practice their italian, both for personal and professional reasons.

I also give homework at the end of the lesson, in order for the student to keep on practicing outside the classroom. I also correct the homework and return in it with feedback either via email or during the next lesson.
I also speak English and Spanish(B1) for all those Spanish or English speaking students who are looking for a teacher who speaks the latter.
For more information do not hesitate to contact me.
