Welcome to my profile page. My name is Jeha Kelly. I am a native Korean and currently live in Canada. I operated my own language school in Korea before I moved to Canada. I enjoy my full time self employed teaching position. I used to work as a translator at a courthouse and teach immigrants English here in Canada prior to coming back to the education industry. I love music, and playing the piano and the cello. Reading and writing always has been a huge part of my life which helps me understand different people and their lives. I look forward to meeting you!

[Only for Students Aged 18 and Over]
Hello! My name is Heeon Kim. Iβm a native Korean speaker from Seoul, South Korea. I hold a Masterβs degree in Korean Studies from Ewha University and a Certificate in Korean Language Teaching for Foreigners.
I have a lot of patience, especially with students who study Korean diligently and sincerely. Iβm happy to explain grammar as many times as needed until you fully understand it. During class, I provide plenty of practice to help reinforce what you learn. Learning speed is not importantβsome people learn quickly, others take more time. Thereβs no set pace when learning a language. If youβre willing to invest time outside of class as well, Iβll do my best to help you reach your goals.

Korean and English are very different languages.
The way people say thing is different and the word order is also very different.
(In Korean, the verb comes last).
For example, in English, we say "What are you talking about?"
But in Korean, we say "What kind of saying is it?" (=λ¬΄μ¨ λ§μ΄μμ?)
Also, in English, we say "Happy birthday."
But in Korean, we say "Birthday congratulations" (= μμΌ μΆνν΄μ).
Example like these show just how different English and Korean are.
If we literally translate English to Korean, it sound very unnatural.
So, when we study Korean, memorizing natural Korean sentences is very important.
I will teach you how to make natural Korean sentences.
<Curriculum>
- If you are a beginner -
1. We can learn the Korean alphabet and practice reading Korean sentences.
2. And we can read natural Korean conversation books I have.
(I will break down all sentences and explain all vocabulary and grammar structures of sentences.)
- If you are intermediate or advanced -...

Hello, Korean learners!
Are you looking for an efficient Korean teacher? Here I am! I can help you :)
According to this TED talk[1], there are 5 principles and 7 actions to learn a new language quickly.
I will teach you based on these principles and actions and show you what you need to do so that you can learn quickly and efficiently. I will also be there to help you practice. Below is a link and summary to the principles and actions. I hope you can watch it and learn more about this unique method.
They introduce the concept of a language parent who can understand what you want to say and responds to your mistakes through conversation, helping you learn and adjust gradually.
It also says TALENT really doesn't matter when learning a new language! Don't worry about your language talent and don'tΒ be afraid to make mistakes!
I have experience in teaching foreign friends for over a year now and despite it being a short amount of time, they have vastly improved. That's why I beli...
