Hi, I’m Alevtina. I’m a native Russian teacher. I’ve completed my Bachelor degree in the Chinese studies, my main sphere of interest at the university was China, that I investigated through the Chinese and English language, what was an amazing experience! According to your preferences I can teach you in Russian, English and Chinese. I worked as a translator and interpreter, tour-guide and model, since spring 2018 I'm focused on teaching Russian language to foreigners, because my real passion is linguistics itself and the process of languages acquisition. As your teacher I organise the lessons in the way to improve your communication in Russian. We practice speaking from the first lesson. I do make focus on pronunciation. We polish it if you continue learning Russian or I’ll teach you Russian sounds, stress and intonation from the scratch if you are a beginner. I’m also a big fan of Russian grammar. It is not easy, that’s true. But we can master it in a way to make it our helping hand more than an obstacle. Grammar, vocabulary and listening skills we can improve through the films, music and fragments of the world famous masterpieces in Russian language, as all of these are essential part of Russian cultural code. As for vocabulary I encourage you to apply some mnemonic techniques, we’ll play memory games like associations, memory castle, mental maps to expand your vocabulary effectively. Learning Russian you can track your progress and foresee upcoming topics we are going to learn in the google table I share with you after 3-4 lessons when the individual plan of progress can be clear. I’m currently learning Japanese and Portuguese, and keep going to master my English, Mandarin and Russian of course :D I like travelling around the world and I live in Saint Petersburg - the most beautiful city in Russia. Welcome to visit it, I can guiding you here. See you on the class!)

Hi there! I’m Natasha, a young BUT experienced (more than 3000 hours taught online in total) and professional teacher with an MA in Russian as a foreign language and a BA in language teaching If you… … have just decided to learn Russian and want to find a teacher who can guide you from the very beginning to the desired level OR …have already been learning the Russian language for a while, you know a bit about Russian grammar but still don’t have a complete grasp of how the Russian language works OR … have been learning Russian for quite a long time, you have a good vocabulary, you’re familiar with Russian grammar but still lack confidence speaking with Russians or are afraid you'll forget everything you've learned? HERE I AM! No matter what your current level is, I’ll be equally happy to help you! ME AS A TEACHER As a teacher I always try to create a trusting, friendly atmosphere without any pressure. BUT at the same time I give special attention to the effectiveness of my lessons. I understand how discouraging it might be (for both students and teachers) having lessons and seeing no results. That’s why you’ll have a sort of interactive map of your “Russian learning journey” and I’ll make sure you’ve assimilated each key points at each stage, in each lesson! MY LESSONS AND MY TEACHING STYLE FOR BEGINNERS If you want to start swimming in the “ Russian language ocean”, first you need to travel along the river from level A0 to A1/A2. With me you’ll always know how much progress you've made and how much is left to achieve your goal. Along the way we’ll collect everything you need to create a strong foundation for your future learning. FOR INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS My lessons for intermediate students are more flexible Depending on what you’re having difficulty with we can -fill the gaps in your grammar knowledge -broaden your vocabulary in the areas you need/want to improve -improve those of your skills where you don’t feel confident, like speaking/listening/pronunciation/ writing or reading FOR ADVANCED If you have an advanced level of Russian, I’m sure that you know well what you need, just let me know! In any case we can diversify our lessons using popular in Russia YouTube videos, series and films FOR ALL TYPES OF LESSONS Together, based on your needs and interests we’ll create a plan (10 lessons ahead). The platform we’ll use allows you to see your trail/track of learning Russian, You can see what we’ve done (all the materials, videos, audio files, comments, answers for your questions - basically everything) as well as what we’ll do next. Everything in one place! So at any time we can go back and review everything. From the very beginning I prioritise speaking on my lessons. Cause that’s exactly why you’re looking for a teacher, right? So we’ll speak as much as possible and I can assure you, you will be comfortable:) To make our lessons more effective, after each session you’ll get a homework to do. Understanding that each person is unique, I’m always open and ready to adapt our lessons depending on the situation you’re facing. If you think I could help you, BOOK A TRIAL SESSION. I’m looking forward to meeting you and to discuss your needs.

I live in Moscow. I am a recently retired Project Manager from a large multinational German company in Moscow. Since I have a lot of free time now, I’ve decided to dedicate it to teaching Russian for foreigners. Why does it suit me so well?I have a lot of experience in communication with colleagues from different countries and different nationalities. I speak German and English and German is my first foreign language. As a project manager, I led trainees and students doing an internship at company, with whom I shared my knowledges and experience. So I was for them not only their boss, but also the couch and teacher. I enjoyed this and our cooperation was very successful. I like teaching, I look forward to communicating with other people, I constantly educate myself: search for new teaching methods, recourses (РИКООСЕЗ) and Apps (ААПС), that I’ll use later in my lessons. I attended a course "Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language" at the Centre of Russian Language of Lomonosov Moscow State University. I’ve only had a few students so far and they all have tangible progress and I’m glad to see how they succeed in speaking Russian. I realise that I don’t have much teaching experience at this moment. Therefore my goal is to gain as much experience as possible. That’s why I offer my services at a discount rate and also a free first lesson.

Hello! My name is Liubov but usually my friends and students call me Liuba. I’m a Russian native speaker. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE THE FIRST LESSON I need some information about your Russian learning experience to prepare a lesson in a proper and efficient way. If you are not a complete beginner and have some knowledge of the language, I offer you to do the level test for determining your level of proficiency. This test covers a lot of grammar topics, related to different levels, and it is intended as a guide only. It gives an idea of your proficiency in grammar, but does not take into account your abilities as a speaker. Usually I interview the student during the first lesson to get to know each other and to understand for what purpose he/she studies Russian. In this way I can assess the student’s speaking skills. With regard to your writing skills, you can send me a composition “About myself”. If you have some preferences in relation to a grammar or conversational topic or both of them for our first lesson, let me know. MY BACKGROUND Foreign languages are an integral part of my life. I have been teaching since 2011. In Russia I worked as an English teacher. In Italy I started teaching Russian as a foreign language. As a Russian language teacher I worked at different language centers and at a private university in Pisa. Apart from teaching I work as a translator and interpreter from English and Italian to Russian and viceversa. TEACHING APPROACH As a teacher, i have worked in multiple forms: pairs, small groups, large groups. I have taught people with different language levels - from beginners to advanced students. As a devoted teacher , first of all I’m interested in the progress of my students. Lessons on Verbling site give both teacher and students an opportunity to be autonomous and creative. Unfortunately, it is not always possible in educational organizations. That’s why I always try to prepare lessons to correspond to learning objectives of students. I adhere to a communicative approach because the capacity to survive and to solve problems by applying the foreign language is more important than perfect knowledge of grammar even though I don’t underestimate its significance in a foreign language course. I give attention to all four communication skills (speaking, writing, listening, reading) during my lessons. All of them are very important but i can introduce them in unequal proportion, taking in consideration the learning style of students and their goals. Foreign language is a cultural phenomenon and I find it very important to incorporate information about culture, traditions, as well as the communicative behavior of the people living in the country whose language student is studying . ITALIANO INFORMAZIONI PERSONALI Ciao a tutti!
