Me llamo Mayte, tengo 39 años y vivo en Gijón (Asturias), aunque soy de Salamanca (Castilla y León).
Me licencié en Comunicación por la Universidad de Salamanca, realizando además Lengua Española y obteniendo como calificación Matrícula de Honor. He impartido clases de forma particular, voluntaria, y en el Centro de Acción Social de San José en Salamanca, no solo de español sino también en otras asignaturas. I discover I wanted to be a full time teacher when I moved to Poland and started teaching sporadically. After I came back to Spain I took a course on teaching skills and started to teach independently. And I loved it! The more I taught the more I liked. I still love teaching cause I understand my culture better and the way Spanish people think. I find that fascinating. To me, explaining why we would say things in a certain way because of our culture is the best bit.
