Hi! I'm Clara, a native Spanish teacher from Spain with over 20 years of teaching experience and more than 700 online lessons on Verbling. I help students of all levels improve their Spanish, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I particularly enjoy helping intermediate and advanced students (B1–C1) develop more natural, confident and fluent Spanish. I am also an Official DELE Examiner and can help you prepare for the DELE B1, B2 and C1 exams with focused practice and personalized feedback. I hold a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a Master's degree in Bilingual Education, as well as a Bachelor's degree in English. My lessons are practical, personalized and adapted to your level, interests and goals. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening and writing, always using natural Spanish from Spain. Whether you are just starting to learn Spanish, want to communicate more confidently in everyday situations, or wan...

Hi there! My introduction video is old but I still think it's good so I'm keeping it. What has changed? Well, now I live in Montreal. I moved here to get a PhD in Sciences of Human Communication at McGill University, with a focus on Second Language Acquisition. In other words, I am now devoted to the scientific study of how we learn foreign languages! That is now my main occupation, but I would like to have a few consistent students on Verbling to link theory and practice. Besides, I love teaching, and I would like to keep doing it! So, even though my overall availability will be limited, I will make sure to keep my schedule consistent every week. I will also devote as much time and as many resources to your learning as needed. I think it is worth mentioning that I now strongly believe that the best way for me to help you improve is through conversation games (see plato.stanford.edu/entries/wittgenstein/#LangGameFamiRese). Thus, expect our lesson to be a series of conversations...

Hello! My name is Jahel, I am from Barcelona and I love teaching because I also like to learn. For several years I have dedicated myself to university teaching in the field of audiovisual language and for some time now, also to oral and verbal Spanish language. In my family there are several people who are dedicated to teaching Spanish, and that gives me the passion to learn other languages such as English, Italian or French, apart from Catalan. If your language is any other, I'm going to find a way to understand you, because I also have a degree in Communication! So I like to relate too, current concepts and news with my lessons' subjects to make them as playful and educational as possible. I use a theoretical-practical method following the "Sueña" method of the Anaya publishing house, which is a reference method according to the curriculum of the Cervantes Institute for students of Spanish.

I love teaching Spanish to people of all ages. I have been a Spanish teacher for over a year in the traditional class setting and through technological platforms such as Verbling. I lived in Europe for about a year, exploring different countries and the cultures represented within. I spent most of my time in London learning English and teaching Spanish. As a non native English speaker, I know the challenges that come from learning a new language. Therefore, I created a method that utilizes both visual and verbal aids to improve your ability to acquire the language seamlessly. The primary goal is to help you move from translating Spanish to creating and accessing the Spanish center in your brain. The objectives of my class include improving your ability to read, write, speak and understand Spanish. Each lesson is tailore...
