I completed a master's degree in teaching in high-school education, at the University of Barcelona and, afterward, I took a course at International House (certified by Instituto Cervantes), in teaching Spanish as a Second Language. Since then, I've had several students in one-to-one lessons and also in group lessons (when I was working for a language school in Australia). During all these years I've been creating my own materials such as flashcards, language games, and even formal exercises that I compiled in a workbook. But what I think is more important in teaching Spanish is to put myself in your shoes. Learning a language shouldn't be hard. That's why I always plan my lessons in detail, introducing a slow grade of complexity, but step by step, so that you feel comfortable, and always focusing on a communicative aim, always based on real life situations. Hi! I am a Spanish native speaker from Barcelona. I enjoy a lot from reading books, having walks in the nature, doing Yoga and dancing! What about you? I've taught Spanish for about 6 years. I worked at a Spanish language academy for almost a year and the rest of the time I've done private lessons, which is what I am doing currently. I can also give Catalan lessons, since it is also a native language of mine and I have helped many students with it too! I can teach you a wide range of levels, from beginner to advanced. I am a Certified Eng<>Spa literary, technical and scientific translator. During my studies, I acquired plenty of knowledge on both languages and their cultures. I have also been teaching languages for many years now. I started with face-to-face English classes in 2011, and in 2018 I switched to online teaching and incorporated Spanish classes. I ended up loving it as I got to meet people from all over the world and was very convenient for both the teacher and the student. By the end of 2018, I was working full time as an online English and Spanish teacher. Regarding my methodology, I think that SPEAKING is the most important thing when learning a language simply because languages were made to communicate! I like incorporating topics that the student likes, that way the learning process becomes easier and more entertaining...
