I completed a master's degree in teaching in high-school education, at the University of Barcelona and, afterward, I took a course at International House (certified by Instituto Cervantes), in teaching Spanish as a Second Language. Since then, I've had several students in one-to-one lessons and also in group lessons (when I was working for a language school in Australia). During all these years I've been creating my own materials such as flashcards, language games, and even formal exercises that I compiled in a workbook. But what I think is more important in teaching Spanish is to put myself in your shoes. Learning a language shouldn't be hard. That's why I always plan my lessons in detail, introducing a slow grade of complexity, but step by step, so that you feel comfortable, and always focusing on a communicative aim, always based on real life situations. Hi! I am a Spanish native speaker from Barcelona. I enjoy a lot from reading books, having walks in the nature, doing Yoga and dancing! What about you? I've taught Spanish for about 6 years. I worked at a Spanish language academy for almost a year and the rest of the time I've done private lessons, which is what I am doing currently. I can also give Catalan lessons, since it is also a native language of mine and I have helped many students with it too! I can teach you a wide range of levels, from beginner to advanced.
