My name is Georgina Villanueva Jiménez. I am Mexican and I live in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. I am an Actuary by profession and have always had a knack for teaching. I possess patience and proficiency in explaining concepts clearly. For nearly 20 years, I worked in a financial company in sales and customer service, which was another form of teaching. In 2012, I completed a course to become an English teacher, followed by another in 2015. Since then, I have been teaching English to individuals, and occasionally through companies. Living in a tourist city with many foreigners, I also have the opportunity to teach Spanish, primarily to Americans and Canadians. I adapted techniques learned from TESOL and TEFL courses to teach Spanish, always emphasizing the Linguistic skills (Listening & Reading comprehension, Oral & Written expression and interaction). And, of course, practice makes perfect! So, we PRACTICE, PRACTICE & PRACTICE! In 2024, I completed a 50-hour online course and r...

Express in Spanish being yourself and communicating without sounding like a robot. I've already tried, I'm not good at languages, I don't have time, Spanish is too difficult, etc. Have you ever said this to yourself? Let me tell you that your beliefs are holding you back. Most all of my students have lost their fear and express themselves naturally. The road is not easy or fast, but everyone can reach their goal with the proper guidance. Do not trust false promises that sell you miracle courses and progress in record time. You can read the testimonials of some of the more than 60 students I have helped in my profile. I also wanted to learn English. They were difficult years because I studied English at school since I was ten years old, but my English was still a joke after twelve years. Until I focused, got my "what for", and luckily I found a language coach who guided me on my way. Now I don't speak it perfectly, far from it, but I feel comfortable speaking and communicating by b...

Hi Spanish lovers'. I am from Spain Barcelona. I enjoy every day seeing Sagrada Familia, the beach, Barça etc and I believe you've made a great choice in learning Spanish. So far I've been teaching Spanish to more than 200 students. As you know Spanish is spoken in many countries, not only Spanish speaking ones, but also the United States (where it is expected to be spoke by 50 milion in 2050) So if you want to enhance your conversational Spanish or to start from scratch, better your written language etc I am your teacher! Classes are not the traditional ones but rather more speaking. So under different situations you will need different comunicative skills. And this is what I am up to. Not grammar by itself. So we can comment on articles, videos, news, your life hypothesis, subjunctive!!. But If your drive is what I think it is you will eventually speak a lot, You can also send me some texts and try your writing skills as well. So I am waiting for your trial lesson!!
