Hola, my name is José, I am from Barcelona (Spain) and I am Spanish teacher for foreigners since 2015. I am currently living in Boston, where I work as Spanish Heritage teacher in the British International School. In the past, I have worked in different schools in Barcelona, London, Zürich and also as online teacher with students from all over the world. Even if I finished Journalism at the University, I decided to do a Spanish Training Course to become a teacher because I found that teaching is my true professional vocation. I like learning about other cultures and helping everyone who wants to learn my language and the Spanish and Latin-American worlds. My way of teaching is always based on communication. From the first day, I give the students the chance of learning while speaking and practicing. I am always open to suggestions and used to adapt the classes to the student's preferences. I hope to hear soon from you, gracias!

Spanish through culture, history and the arts. Hello! I’m Juan Francisco, a writer and Spanish teacher based in Mexico City. I have published two books and contribute regularly to some of Mexico’s leading art magazines. I believe in learning languages through works of art, attentive reading and listening, and real conversations about topics that move us. Staying attuned to the cultural life of the city and the country—its literature, film, exhibitions, politics, and history—is vital to me, and I enjoy bringing that perspective into my lessons. I work especially well with students who are eager to engage with Mexican and Latin American culture in a deeper way. Whether you're interested in literature, politics, cinema, history, or everyday life in Mexico City, our sessions can become a space for thoughtful exchange. I also enjoy sharing recommendations for books, films, or even places to eat, drink and visit. I hold a degree in Latin American Studies and a certificate in Teaching S...
