¡Hola! I'm Arturo, a certified language teacher from central Mexico with more than 10 years of experience teaching Spanish and English to students from around the world. I have worked both online and in person, helping learners improve their communication skills, prepare for exams, and gain confidence using the language in real-life situations. As a language learner myself, I know the challenges students face and how to make the learning process effective and motivating.

Hi there! My introduction video is old but I still think it's good so I'm keeping it. What has changed? Well, now I live in Montreal. I moved here to get a PhD in Sciences of Human Communication at McGill University, with a focus on Second Language Acquisition. In other words, I am now devoted to the scientific study of how we learn foreign languages! That is now my main occupation, but I would like to have a few consistent students on Verbling to link theory and practice. Besides, I love teaching, and I would like to keep doing it! I'm very passionate about linguistic, literature and art in general; that's why I studied a bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature and recently I've finished a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish.
