I am a Spanish retired who wants to teach my mother tongue to others and meet new people. I would love to share my knowledge of Spanish with whoever wants to learn it. I was born in Spain but lived many years in Venezuela. I live now in Nigrán, north west of Spain. I am always eager to have good conversations in Spanish depending on the level of the student. I can adapt my lessons to the student requirements for them to either be more informal or grammar focused. I can teach students for all levels from beginners to advanced to children, teenagers or adults. I can provide exercises as homework when and as required. I am flexible for arranging the time for the lessons as long as they happen during the day from Monday to Sunday. I am already working as a community tutor in another platform and I have been teaching Spanish to many students in that platform that are very satisfied with my lessons. I have been teaching in this platform for almost a year now.

Whether you're a beginner or a conversation capable student, I will adapt the classes depending on your needs and focus deeply on conversation. We will also follow a grammar course to ensure your continuous progress. For that, we will use my set of presentations that contain explanations, examples and exercises, just like a regular book. And if you feel more comfortable having the grammar explanations in your native language, I could use my German and French speaking skills for that.

Hello, I am Alejandra! :) I was born in Mexico City. I completed my postgraduate studies in Italy, then I lived in Playa del Carmen for a couple of years, and now I am based in Puebla. I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Classics. I worked as a research fellow for the Diccionario del Español de México. In 2007, I started teaching at universities, subjects such as Latin, Italian, English, Literature, advanced Spanish for Mexican students, Spanish writing, and Spanish as a foreign language.
