I want to be your English exam coach! I specialize in getting students ready for exams, whether that be the TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, SSAT, GMAT, GRE, or others. I am an excellent essay writing and speaking coach, but I also guide students through the nuances of reading and listening. I understand the peculiarities of each of the different exams, and will create a course plan around your individual needs and goals. My teaching style is intense and focused on results. However, I am sensitive to an individual’s own learning peculiarities and personality.
I use a range of different materials. Many of these are specific for the exam in question, but I also implement my own specific, customized materials to assist students learn and improve their skills.
Although I am from the US state of Ohio, I lived in Central Asia for over 15 years. Still, I am easily accessible from a large number of time zones in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I have a B.A. in Journalism, and an M.A. in humanities. I am fluent in Russian, and CELTA certified. I have been preparing students for exams since 2011.
I am a U.N. certified examiner for EALTS (an English proficiency test for pilots and air-traffic controllers). As an examiner I see things through the eyes of the examinees, so I can appreciate what students go through during test-time. I can get you ready for your test!!!
