Hi!! My name is Paulette and I was raised in the fabulous City of New York. I began teaching English in Colombia in 2015 after earning my CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) in 2014. I have experience teaching ESL classes on-site to adults, teenagers and children and I have three years of experience teaching ESL to very young Chinese learners online. In addition, I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Spanish from the City University of New York - Baruch College.
I can help you with conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, fluency and accuracy. I use the 3rd edition of the English File textbooks that I can provide you free of charge, both the student's book and the homework workbook from the Beginner level to the Upper-Intermediate level. I look forward to working with you and helping you on your journey of mastering English.
When I am not teaching I also work full-time from home as a human resources manager and as a SPA-ENG translator. I've been a translator for the past seven years. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym and spend time with my two cats.
