About Me
I am an enthusiastic and positive person and always intend to spark my student's interest and motivation by applying methods and teaching styles that are best suited for my student's way of learning.
My lessons are being undertaken on a highly professional level, well structured and organised, and include an individually tailored syllabus as well as the best suited materials for my student's needs and learning style.
I am generally a very open person with a broad knowledge of various topics that I always try to implement into my lessons.
And no worries, we will definitely try to make this as interesting and as fun as possible (some humour and laughter is also included in the price).
I am also teaching academic/scientific writing in German. So if you want to improve your writing I am definitely the right person.
Note: The price shown here is an average price for a A1-B1 learner. For special needs and for B2-C2 the price might be higher. In case of zero-preparation lessons, the price can also be lower. We can discuss this in detail in the first trial lesson.
My main teaching style focuses on conversation and on improving your writing skills as well as your confidence in using the German language orally. Thus we will talk a lot and also get you to read about specific topics in order to broaden your vocabulary which we then apply in writing and at the end in a discussion or conversation.
We will work especially on reoccurring gaps and problems, identify them and solve them. The idea here is to develop a deeper understanding of the language and also get you to talk without or with only a thin accent.
As I also hold a BA and MSc in various social sciences I additionally teach and support academic writing in German.

My trial lessons
We will get to know each other and I will try to get an idea of your level of German. I will give an overview of the materials we would use together and develop a Syllabus in regards to your skills, as well as create a learning plan and style tailored towards your goals and learning style.
