Hello everyone! I am a CELTA certified ESL teacher. I've taught for more than 8 years at university level both in Colombia as well as the U.S. I believe that having a patient and welcoming disposition is a key component in students' learning. I'm friendly, cheerful, and like to laugh a lot and have fun with my students. I strive to provide a communicative approach in my classes, so that means lots of conversation! We will obviously focus on the other language skills like reading, writing and listening when needed. I will explain the meaning of words, improve your pronunciation, and make sure you understand the grammar involved. In my class we can discuss any topic of your choice. I like to make my students feel comfortable and confident, while at the same time challenging them to learn new things. I hope to see you soon!
