I am a professional TESOL qualified English teacher from the UK with 11 years of classroom experience and more than 8 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy working in all aspects of English, including exam preparation (IELTS and CAMBRIDGE EXAMS) for students of all levels.
I'm originally from Reading in the southeast of England but have been living in Italy for several years.
I enjoy many things but most of all blue skies and sunny days, walking in the mountains, reading and of course, Netflix:)
Describing myself as a teacher, I would say that I’m very patient, motivated and flexible. I offer experience, guidance, and support to help students towards their individual goals. I have taken more than 16,000 lessons online, and I still feel as passionate about teaching as I did when I first started.
I offer a wide selection of lessons so that you can choose and focus on specific areas of the language. Target areas include exam preparation, (IELTS academic and general, and all CAMBRIDGE EXAMS,) speaking, grammar, pronunciation, and business.
It’s important that classes are relaxed, comfortable and are enjoyable as well as fruitful. I offer a flexible approach which means that I’ll customize, adapt and provide lessons to meet individual needs. I offer feedback, corrections, and suggestions throughout the lesson and welcome feedback from students so that we can work together to provide a beneficial lesson every time.
