I want you to be more comfortable speaking English. The lessons I offer focus mainly on speaking since you can read and watch content independently. While speaking you and I will discover gaps in your words/phrases and I will help you fill them. Students often learn between 3-10 words and phrases in a lesson. I do also include some materials for inspiring a discussion, or if you are interested in something specific, I'll find reading or video materials so that we can discuss something more intelligently and with more detail. I also focus on pronunciation so that you will sound as clear as possible when speaking with native speakers from America (linking, reductions/connected speech, and mouth positions are taught).

My corporate work experience includes: Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, Team Lead roles in the travel/hospitality, insurance and software industries. I have some familiarity with ecommerce, ERP, marketing, consulting, and software development/engineering through constant interactions with students in those fields.
My academic experience: postgraduate work in the field of media communications (PR/advertising) which required heavy amounts of reading academic journals and writing about their findings. I've assisted several postgraduate and doctoral students with their English as well as working PhDs/researchers over the years.
