I lived in Madrid , Spain for two years before moving to Milan, Italy ten years ago. I've been teaching English to foreigners for almost 20 years. I started doing it as a part time job during the summer holidays as I was teaching in a school the rest of the year and it became my full time job when I moved to Spain. I've taught students who didn't speak a word of English when they started and even students who were perfecting their language skills at an advanced level. I have completed various courses, like TEFL and Teaching ESL students in mainstream classrooms. Hello! My name is Bridget and I´m an American teacher living in Cartagena, Spain. I´ve been an English teacher now for 17 years and I love it so much, I´ve opened my own school. I taught young learners for one year in Poland before coming to Spain. I think it´s important to have fun while both learning and teaching, so I try to make classes as entertaining as possible, playing games (yes, even with adults!) and changing written activities to speaking activities.
