Hi, ともこです。I'm an experienced Japanese teacher and also a Japanese calligraphy artist.I was born and grew up in Japan, and I have been living in Australia for about 8 years. I love the beaches and natural landscapes here!
.
I used to work at schools teaching English in Japan, and teaching Japanese in Australia. I run Japanese calligraphy workshops in Australia, too. I'm fluent in English, and can help explain Japanese grammar and vocabulary - great for beginners and for tricky advanced topics!
.
I have been teaching Japanese for the past 6 years, and have helped my students at all levels - basic to advanced, including business Japanese. My classes are usually conversation-based and customised to my students' language needs, whether it be grammar, idioms, vocabulary, or pronunciation.
.
If you have something specific you need to prepare for, such as an upcoming interview or presentation, I can definitely help you with that! I am also happy to answer any questions you have about mate...

I was born in Japan and studied in Canada and USA.
When I was studying music in LA, I learned Brazilian music and a couple of years later I went to Brazil and met my husband.
I didn't know how to speak Portuguese at that time, I only knew how to sing in Portuguese, but from the very first day of Brazil I learned how to have fun and communicate with people without knowing much of the theory and vocabulary. It was just like how people learn jazz. There's a theory behind, but the most importantly we should feel and improvise. And to understand the theory, you first should listen, listen and listen.
So my learning and teaching method can be a little unique. It's not like the traditional way that we all know, which you read, write, and listen to the explanations, instead, I want you to feel it.
It's important to study and understand the grammar and try to memorize as much vocabularies as you can, but you can't forget to have fun, and you can't memorize things by just reading and thinkin...

Hi, I'm Azumi from Yokohama, Japan. I can teach you Japanese in English, Spanish and Portuguese! I was born in Tokyo, raised in Yokohama and schooled in Vancouver, Canada. I have taught Japanese since 2004 in 3 different countries: Canada, Colombia and Brasil. I teach from beginner's levels to preps for Japanese Language Proficiency Exam (JLPT) levels N5-N1 or the exams for the scholarships offered by the Japanese Embassy, called MEXT. I have many students who have passed N1 and N2, won the MEXT scholarships and are studying or working in Japan! I also worked in Colombia as a Japanese-English-Spanish translator and interpreter for 10 years, mainly in international technical cooperation projects. The strength in my teaching is that I can explain Japanese grammar with comparisons to English, Spanish or Portuguese. When a student asks a question about Japanese, seldom do I say "because that's how it works". I can provide you a clear explanation for ev...

My name is Tsuyoshi. I'm a native Japanese speaker.

I am looking for a new student. I can teach Japanese between 10AM-9PM (Japan Standard Time). If you interested in my lesson, Please feel free to contact me. Thank you.
For the past several years, I've corrected more than 360 people's sentences on another website that have come from various people studying Japanese. I also have experience with language exchange. I started to teach Japanese as a online tutor from April 2016. I have had more than 7000+ lessons with my students from a lot of countries. I've come to understand what is difficult for Japanese learners. I also understand that it is tough to study foreign language, because I've been studying English for years.
I think the most important part of learning a foreign language is having fun studying and keeping motivated. In my lesson, I will ask the learners purpose and what they want to learn in adv...

Hey everyone, I’m Anna! I was born and raised in Japan. I’ve been teaching Japanese for a while now and I’d be happy to help you as well.
I lived in Canada for one year and had a lot of life-changing experiences there. I was amazed by how much Japanese culture (history, language, media, etc.) is appreciated around the world. That made me quite proud to be Japanese! Now, I want to help others understand the rich culture and language of Japan. The more words you learn in Japanese, the more you will be able to enjoy your visit to Japan! It will also become easier for you to understand Japanese news, film, and television.
I will help you improve your writing, listening, and speaking and am willing to work with beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. You’re welcome to talk with me about a variety of subjects: Japan, your hobbies, or anything else! I understand how stressful it can be to learn a new language, and I will work my hardest to provide an informative, engaging, yet rel...

Do you feel anxious, nervous, or worried when learning Japanese?
Many learners carry a lot of anxiety when studying a new language.
I understand those feelings, and you never need to hide them in my lessons.
I am a patient and friendly teacher who will explain things as many times as you need, until you truly understand and feel comfortable.
There is no pressure, no rushing, and no fear of making mistakes.
I make sure you always feel safe, supported, and confident while speaking Japanese.
My lessons are ideal for learners who want to study calmly, feel understood, and build real confidence step by step.

こんにちはー!
ようこそ、私の日本語クラスへ!
Hello, welcome to my Japanese language course!
I’m from Yokohama, one of the biggest cities in Japan, located on Tokyo Bay just South of Tokyo, so I speak and teach Tokyo dialect, also known as standard dialect.
My major was English language and literature and I did my graduate thesis on intercultural communications. I also took ESL courses with several different professors over the years so I understand how hard it is to study different languages and I know what works.
My methodology on language learning is a combination of immersive and traditional learning. The Japanese language requires a great amount of effort to master, but it becomes far easier if you use the language colloquially first, as children do. Language is like a jigsaw puzzle; it will become easier as you fill it in. I will help you learn through conversation, textbooks, and roleplay. I also can...

こんにちは。I'm a native Japanese speaker. I live in Osaka. I am a mother of 2 kids.
I attended Osaka University where I majored in Japanese teaching. In the university, I studied how to teach Japanese to foreign people. I think the most important thing is to relax and enjoy the lessons.
After graduating, I worked for a localization division of a Japanese Game Publisher in Osaka for a period of 13 years. My duties involved the translation (from English to Japanese) of in-game content and manual booklets for more than 100 games.
I understand there are many Japanese phrases that cannot be translated literally to your language. Also, Keigo (Honorific) may be complicating.
I'd like to think with you what is the best way to learn the language for you.
It may be to read Japanese manga (comic books), to watch Japanese movies, or to discuss some topics of Japanese newspapers.

*Currently I live in the Netherlands for my job.
I am a certified Japanese language teacher and taught 1000 lessons and have 100 students over the world (including outside verbling), so you can have professional lessons.
I used to hang out with super famous J-POP musicians.
*I'm afraid I can't answer the question "who is the musician?' due to their privacy. But I can tell you anything except that (It's not that I was fan of J-POP but I can talk about what I saw; celebrity's life, fashion, how to make ideas, their strategy etc)
I also translate subtitles for movies.
**Trial lessons are for people who are interested in my regular lessons..**
And we can focus on your personal goal from beginners to fluent speakers.I am new on verbling but have taught Japanese on other places and got a review as 'the best lesson I've ever had' from my student.
For beginners I use teaching materials and focus on the Genki textbook. But I can customize the lesson without it.
For JLPT I use a JLPT...
