My name is June, and I'm a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan with four years of Chinese teaching experience. My classes are conducted primarily in Mandarin — I speak Mandarin, and so do my students. This applies to beginner lessons as well, as immersion helps you start thinking in the language naturally, without relying on translation. I was born and raised in Taiwan, so I speak with a standard Taiwan Mandarin accent, what's considered a Southern accent, which means you won't hear the "er" suffix common in Northern dialects.
