I discover I wanted to be a full time teacher when I moved to Poland and started teaching sporadically. After I came back to Spain I took a course on teaching skills and started to teach independently. And I loved it! The more I taught the more I liked. I still love teaching cause I understand my culture better and the way Spanish people think. I find that fascinating. To me, explaining why we would say things in a certain way because of our culture is the best bit. Be sure you will always have contact with the real culture during our lessons. I usually take a coaching approach. That means we will set goals and every week we will review what we've done so far and what we can do next. Hola, my name is José, I am from Barcelona (Spain) and I am Spanish teacher for foreigners since 2015. I am currently living in Boston, where I work as Spanish Heritage teacher in the British International School. In the past, I have worked in different schools in Barcelona, London, Zürich and also as online teacher with students from all over the world. Even if I finished Journalism at the University, I decided to do a Spanish Training Course to become a teacher because I found that teaching is my true professional vocation.
