About Me
Hi everyone! I’m Irina, a native Russian teacher from Moscow with a university degree in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language and 8+ years of experience (including corporate tutoring at Yandex).
If you can already handle basic everyday topics but feel stuck on the "Intermediate Plateau", or want to upgrade your Russian for professional and academic confidence, you are in the right place! I help students move past the basics, clear up complex grammar, and master Russian for their future careers, university studies, or business.
🎯 Who I can help:
• The "Intermediate Plateau" Students: You know the basics, but you feel stuck. I will help you expand your vocabulary, gain confidence, and transition from simple everyday chats to professional-level Russian.
• Bilingual Teenagers : If your child speaks Russian fluently but struggles with reading, writing, or makes grammatical mistakes, I have a specialized Reading & Grammar course designed just for teenagers to bridge this gap.
• TORFL Candidates & Professionals: Need to pass official exams or learn Business Russian? My corporate background and experience at a TOFL Exam Preparation Center will help you get results fast.
💡 Why study with me? (According to 190+ student reviews):
• Excellent Materials: No boring, outdated textbooks. I provide customized, high-quality modern materials tailored exactly to your goals. As an educational content creator, I also run a dedicated YouTube channel for Russian learners, so you will have access to top-tier resources.
• Grammar Made Simple: I am an expert in Russian grammar and phonetics. I know how to explain the most complex rules (like verbs of motion or cases) so they finally make sense.
• Accent Reduction: We will work closely on your pronunciation so you can sound more natural and authentic.
• Fun & Engaging Atmosphere: Learning Russian is a challenge, but my lessons are always interactive, supportive, and fun!
Are you ready to take your Russian to the next level? Look through my schedule below, pick a time that works best for you, and let’s start working toward your goals!
