About Me
17 Years Experienced Certified Teacher, University Lecturer, Cils Examiner, Phd in Food Anthropology.
I am Michela, a DITALS-certified Italian language professor and native speaker based near Florence. With an academic background in Modern Literature and a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from universities in Paris and Siena, I have since dedicated myself to research and teaching. Since 2024, I'm serving also as a Lecturer of Italian as a Foreign Language at the University of Palermo.
Since 2009, I have been teaching Italian as a Foreign Language to adults from diverse backgrounds, including manager, asylum seekers and university students. I offer courses for all levels and goals: general Italian, professional needs or simply a passion for Italian. As a CILS examiner, I provide focused guidance, clear strategies, helping students approach exams with confidence and awareness. Specialized pathways are available for the food & wine sector as well.
I create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student can experiment with the language, gain confidence, and enjoy the process of discovering Italian in a way that suits their interests and goals.
