I have a master's degree in teaching at the Giovanni Pascoli School. Ciao! I'm Ruggero, an Italian language teacher and a jazz vocalist trained at the Conservatory of Palermo (Diploma cum laude in Jazz Voice, 2017). I've been teaching Italian online since 2016 — more than 8,000 one-to-one lessons with adults from thirty different countries. I hold a degree in Translation & Italian as a Second Language and a certification from the University for Foreigners of Perugia.
I work mostly with students who have already started Italian and now want to actually speak it: to loosen up, to stop translating in their heads, to get to the point where they can discuss something that matters to them. That last step is the hardest one, and it's the one I enjoy most.
