I’ve been teaching Portuguese since 2016 and I frequently collaborate with several educational institutions, including Universidade Nova de Lisboa. I hold a postgraduate degree in Teaching Portuguese as a Non-Native Language, as well as TEFL and TEYL certificates. I’ve taught hundreds of students from all over the world, from beginners to advanced learners. Hi, students! I’m Guilherme, a native European Portuguese tutor from Lisbon with 10 years of teaching experience, and I’m here to help you learn Portuguese in the most enjoyable way possible. I’m fluent in English at a native level, having been exposed to it since childhood, so communication won’t be an issue. I’ve worked with students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, including children, using creative methods like games and music. My teaching approach is all about thinking outside the box. I understand that traditional memorization methods often fall short—it’s when we’re having fun and engaging with the material that learning really sticks. Personally, I learned English effortlessly through activities like chatting with foreigners, watching American cartoons, and playing video games, and I bring that same energy to my teaching. My goal is to help you overcome any fear of making mistakes because mistakes are a natural and essential part of learning. M...
