About Me
Hallo Liebe Verbling Schüler/ Hi dear Verbling Students
how are you doing? Thanks for stopping by.
I am Melek and I am from the north of Germany therefore I speak standard German (Hochdeutsch). Apart from that, I speak English and Turkish as well. In my free time, I like to do some sports and spend a lot of time in nature. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people a lot, learning about different cultures and lifestyles.
My teaching experience:
I work as a language teacher at a Language School, where I teach German as a foreign language. I teach in small groups, and one on one classes (online and offline).
I am a patient and encouraging teacher, I am aware of the difficulties and struggles when it comes to learning a new language since I am a language learner myself.

I started teaching ten years ago (wow, time flies...) in Vienna during my studies and then I moved to Berlin where I now enjoy the international atmosphere and the great food! I specialized in E-Learning and how to deliver online trainings and I would love to support you in your efforts to learn German. Let's start the conversation we can find out how I can support you: just drop me a line :-)

I was born in Hong Kong to a German father and a Filipina mother, which is why I was raised to speak both English and German on a native level. When I moved to Germany at 5 years old, however, I was considered a foreigner and thus had to be enrolled in German classes. Therefore I have experienced two very different language learning routes: organically picking it up from your surroundings and actively studying it. This has given me an in-depth understanding of, not just German grammar rules, but also the psychology of learning a language!. Additionally, I studied French and Spanish, which is why I know exactly what it's like to be a student struggling to adjust and stay motivated. I know what works and what doesn't, as...
