Hi there I was born in Belgium and Dutch is my native language. I have always been interested in languages, not just using the language correctly but also trying to understand the evolution of the language and comparing different language groups. Although I was educated as an engineer, after the birth of the children and being always on the move, I had to reinvent myself. I started to give language courses. Soon, I found out that I really enjoyed this and that I was actually good at it. I always adapt my lessons to the needs and wishes of the student.

I am a 39-year-old Dutch and Frisian native tutor. I would love to help you learn the Dutch language, customs, and culture. In the first 32 years of my life, I was in The Netherlands where I have been teaching, training, and mentoring written and spoken Dutch to all skill levels. In the past 7 years, I have been living throughout Europe. Whilst enriching my general cultural knowledge, I have had the pleasure of having students from many different backgrounds from all over the globe.
