Hi, My name is Rick and I am from Cheshire in the UK. I have a Bachelor of Science, and I have qualified as a TEFL teacher with an advanced course in Teaching English Online. I have worked in the construction industry for many years, and now I am living in Spain. I am learning Spanish so I understand the difficulties with learning a new language. I like listening to music, keeping fit and travelling. I have been to many countries in the world, but I still want to see more, and hopefully one day I will see more of Africa. I am passionate about languages , and helping my students learn the most important language in the world....English. I will speak nice and slowly for beginners, and at a normal speed with more advanced students. I am a qualified native English tutor. My qualifications include a Highschool Senior Certificate (A-Levels) and a Diploma In Nature Conservation/Sciences at the Technical University of Tshwane (South Africa). I also possess a TEFL qualification obtained from T.I.E.S - The International English School in Cape Town. I have taught English privately as well as in Schools for 3 years. I also taught Life skills to adolescents for 4 years in English. I have also done ESL Online teaching for two years now. I like to focus on reading, writing as well as speaking based activities/games with the younger students and speaking, grammar, writing and reading exercises/activities with the older students. Pronunciation is very important to me and I will also put a lot of focus into it to make sure my students aren't misunderstood and thus discouraged.
