I'm Ivana and I'm Italian! I live between Spain and Italy!
I speak Italian, English, Spanish, German and a little French too.
I love to travel and change my perspective, so I can better understand other cultures. I have been teaching Italian for ten years with great passion!
I have a degree in Linguistics, Technology, and Didactic Languages, and I'm a lover of new technology! So I decided to join my passions and create dynamic and original lessons that are fun and perfect in online mode. Another passion? Photography, reading, nature, and art!
My teaching method consists of dynamic lessons built on real and authentic experiences to guarantee maximum communication for students.
For me, speaking to people is an essential part of any communication process. But I organize my lessons into tasks like comprehension, reading, and writing.
Together we can improve your linguistic skills and improve your fluency in Italian!
=)

Ciao! 👋 👨🏻🏫 🏳️🌈 🏠 🤌 👀 ✍️ ⏰ 💌
My name is Americo, and I am your "Old Soul" Italian Tutor. I am 41 years old and originally from Latina (Lazio), but I currently live in the stunning medieval city of Lucca, in Tuscany.
I am a CEDILS and TEFL certified teacher with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature. I have been teaching Italian as a second language since 2017, assisting students from 37 different countries and using English and Spanish as bridge languages.
Before dedicating myself to teaching, I lived and worked across Europe (UK, Spain, Germany), an experience that has given me strong intercultural sensitivity. I speak fluent English and Spanish, and basic French.
🎸 Fun Fact: Besides travel, I am a huge fan of 60s and 70s music, and I adore everything vintage. It is precisely because of this passion that my students love calling me an "Old Soul Teacher".
🎓 My Teaching Style
With nine years of experience, I have developed a versatile and empathetic approach. My goal is fo...

Hello my name is Ettore and I was born in the beautiful Florence, in Italy.
I love teaching! I like to share my knowledge with people who need it and, at the same time, learn from everybody. This is the meaning of life!
I have a master's degree in teaching at the Giovanni Pascoli School. I have been teaching Italian for many years to foreigners in Florence, working for a voluntary association, and also at the UAM (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana) in Mexico city and Aguascalientes, Mexico. In 2017 and 2018 I taught Italian in Australia.
I have shaped my teaching over time by having to teach people from 5 to 70 in many different situations, face to face, online, in schools, in neighborhoods, in villages, in associations, even in different kinds of churches and recreational clubs, using the most effective teaching approach based on the situation.
Right now I am in Thailand, where I keep going to teach on different online platforms where I also teach photography and video shooting, ...

Hello everyone!
Since you're probably here to choose a teacher from among hundreds, let me share a helpful tip: one of the strongest signs of of student satisfaction is the average number of lessons per student.
How do you calculate it?
Simply divide the total number of lessons a teacher has given by the number of students who have taken at least a second class.
Verbling is especially helpful here, as it’s the only platform that clearly displays this statistic on each teacher’s profile.
(In my case, you’ll see I have around 50 lessons per student: this number is calculated by Verbling, taking into account only those students who took at least one class after the trial class)
To sum up: if you avoid teachers with a low average, you're much more likely to enjoy a positive and rewarding learning experience.
Wishing you all the best in your learning journey — and if you choose me, see you soon! 🤗

Ciao!
Hello there! I'm Maria Chiara, from Italy; I am a certified teacher of Italian as a foreign language (CEDILS certification). I teach both in a school and online and...

Ciao!
Let me introduce myself: I took a high school certificate (Lyceum) specialising in classical studies then graduated in English & German at Turin University back in the 90's; since 2006 I'm working as freelance full time teacher of Italian for foreign people & translator/interpreter as for EN, FR, DE into Italian.
Right after the degree, I started working as teacher at a Language School located in Rom, then I kept on teaching on a private basis to either groups of students/private students (both on line & face to face).
I love teaching my language and, basing on the kind of students requesting my services, I choose and prepare a customised learning program.
Customers needs are different and need to be met with different learning solutions!
Pls, feel free to get in touch with me any time to discuss about your possible requests and I'll be pleased to find the best option for you!
A presto!

Hi, My name is Tina and I live in Rome.
I have two degrees one in Italian Literature Philosophy and another in Art History.
I taught Italian to children of all ages, I really enjoyed teaching but I accepted a job offer to become a civil servant for Rome City Hall, looking after the Roman heritage and becoming the director of the Medicine History Museum of Rome.
I have recently retired and with some spare time in my hands, I went back to my true vocation: teaching. I now teach Italian to students whose first language is not Italian. I have students mainly from France, UK, and USA who are, for different reasons, in Italy and need to learn the language.
Well, I can't wait to get started! 🙂 🇮🇹
