Hello my name is Ettore and I was born in the beautiful Florence, in Italy.
I love teaching! I like to share my knowledge with people who need it and, at the same time, learn from everybody. This is the meaning of life!
I have a master's degree in teaching at the Giovanni Pascoli School. I have been teaching Italian for many years to foreigners in Florence, working for a voluntary association, and also at the UAM (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana) in Mexico city and Aguascalientes, Mexico. In 2017 and 2018 I taught Italian in Australia.
I have shaped my teaching over time by having to teach people from 5 to 70 in many different situations, face to face, online, in schools, in neighborhoods, in villages, in associations, even in different kinds of churches and recreational clubs, using the most effective teaching approach based on the situation.
Right now I am in Thailand, where I keep going to teach on different online platforms where I also teach photography and video shooting, ...

During my lessons, I focus on my students, their needs, their goals and their weaknesses in the most relaxed atmosphere as possible.
My personal goal is to have my students reach their goals.

Ciao! I’m Matteo, a qualified Italian teacher for foreign learners.
I have been teaching Italian for over 20 years, both online and in person. I hold a Master’s degree from Italy and a postgraduate qualification in teaching Italian as a second language.

Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, grammar and vocabulary, prepare for a trip to Italy, reconnect with your Italian heritage, or simply feel more confident when speaking, I’ll adapt our lessons to your level, interests and goals.
I believe learning Italian should be effective, enjoyable and relaxed. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to speak, make mistakes, ask questions and gradually build your confidence.
And if you love Ital...

CIAO! My name is Raffaele and I am a native Italian speaker who has been living abroad for 12 years (so I know the initial difficulties to learn and speak a different language).
I have a Bachelors degree in Pedagogy and I have been working as an Italian teacher for foreigners/ refugees and in school projects with teenagers who dropped out of high school, since 2004. So if you are a shy beginner do not worry, we will build your confidence together through chats, games and laughs.
My lessons are interactive and involve a lot of conversation.
You'll set the goals and I'll tailor the classes to your needs and on your learning mechanisms. I will provide you with all the materials you need like: exercises, videos, podcasts, articles and everything that can suit your learning.
I can teach Italian from A0 to B2 (from full beginner to intermediate/advanced) students.
So, feel free to set a trial lesson with me :)

Hello everyone!
Since you're probably here to choose a teacher from among hundreds, let me share a helpful tip: one of the strongest signs of of student satisfaction is the average number of lessons per student.
How do you calculate it?
Simply divide the total number of lessons a teacher has given by the number of students who have taken at least a second class.
Verbling is especially helpful here, as it’s the only platform that clearly displays this statistic on each teacher’s profile.
(In my case, you’ll see I have around 56 lessons per student: this number is calculated by Verbling, taking into account only those students who took at least one class after the trial class)
To sum up: if you avoid teachers with a low average, you're much more likely to enjoy a positive and rewarding learning experience.
Wishing you all the best in your learning journey — and if you choose me, see you soon! 🤗
