About Me
Hi everyone, my name is Ngọc. I am an aspiring polyglot from Hanoi, the beautiful capital of Vietnam. I speak the standard Northern Vietnamese accent (Hanoian accent). Learning languages is my hobby. I look forward to helping you conquer the Vietnamese language! Let's learn and have fun together!
I am very patient, friendly and have a flexible timetable. I have had a lot of experience helping people from other countries learn Vietnamese. In my opinion, the only way to learn a language is through a lot of exposure, repetition and practice. We will work on helping you master the Vietnamese pronunciation, intonation and grammar in an efficient way.
When we learn new words or grammar structures, I will help you put them into context so you can memorize them more easily and start using them correctly. Soon, you'll be able to make natural conversations and build good sentences. Out of class, I will support you with materials and homework to help you with your learning.
I offer structured lessons with effective materials and Google Doc/ Word notes. My lesson plans are based on books, but I make sure to customize it in order to make the lessons fun and help you learn natural Vietnamese. I will help you learn how to speak and use Vietnamese in the most natural way while also touching on important grammatical points.
I'm also open to other activities like listening to songs or watching videos, and then analyzing them together. I want to help you practice comprehension, learn natural and practical Vietnamese and to balance between the 4: Reading, listening, speaking and writing.
