About Me
Dear language learners,
I'm Peter from Germany, language enthusiast with a love for making music, literature and hiking. I'm originally from Leipzig in Germany, but currently residing in Porto, Portugal.
With many years of teaching experience, and having lived in Mexico, Spain, France and Portugal, I can relate to the challenges that come with learning a new language and adapt my classes to your individual situation, goals and needs.
As a result, you’ll experience a rapid improvement in your abilities and get the tools to maintain this progress, even when on your own.
Having a background in linguistics as well as a CELTA teaching certificate, my method helps my students to develop their language skills for real-life situations, along with a solid understanding of grammatical structures. I've taught in various schools in Germany, Mexico and online, teaching all levels from absolute beginners to near-natives and from children to adults. Thorough lesson planning and evaluation are equally important for a good lesson as spontaneity and fun. For each student, I provide a protocol for each lesson as well as all the learning materials we use in class, so you can keep track of your progress and learn by yourself whenever you want.
Communicative abilities are a top priority in my classes. I give you lots of speaking practice and immediately engage you with dynamic exercises whenever we introduce new material. At the same time, we develop your understanding of grammatical structures and give you plenty of authentic language input. I include many different resources and topics to make my classes fun and engaging for you. It is also very important to activate your existing abilities, so that you experience a constant process of improvement without losing what you've already learned.
