Hola,
my name is José, I am from Barcelona (Spain) and I am Spanish teacher for foreigners since 2015. I am currently living in Boston, where I work as Spanish Heritage teacher in the British International School.
In the past, I have worked in different schools in Barcelona, London, Zürich and also as online teacher with students from all over the world.
Even if I finished Journalism at the University, I decided to do a Spanish Training Course to become a teacher because I found that teaching is my true professional vocation. I like learning about other cultures and helping everyone who wants to learn my language and the Spanish and Latin-American worlds.
My way of teaching is always based on communication. From the first day, I give the students the chance of learning while speaking and practicing. I am always open to suggestions and used to adapt the classes to the student's preferences.
I hope to hear soon from you, gracias!

I am from Costa Rica a country very popular to visit for its beautiful beaches and that is why in my free time I love to go to the beach with my friends, I love meeting fun people who like to socialize and share, I love watching movies on Netflix.
I have been spending the past few years teaching Spanish as a second language to many people from around the world, and I am so glad to be apart of the Verbling teaching crew!
In my lessons I would like to talk about any topic that is of interest to you, be it the family, places you have visited or the traditional foods from your country or from mine, thus covering informal conversation that allows us to see well what needs to be corrected.
My teaching style is for my students to learn lots of vocabulary so that it is easier for them to have conversations and to know well how and when to use it, also to be able to form sentences.
I am very flexible with the topics of conversation. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Hello! My name is Ester. I would like to teach you Spanish but I also speak English. I live in Buenos aires, Argentina, my neutral accent is ideal for students looking to communicate easily with Spanish-speakers worldwide.
I have taught this language to beginners, intermediate and high levels from all ages. I personalize my teaching approach based on my student’s needs and goals to help you improve your Spanish skills (grammar, pronunciation and fluency) my classes are fun, dynamic, interactive and you will have a lot of speaking opportunities. I like to offer my students different kinds of materials, such as videos, articles and games. A class with me is a safe place for you because I will never scold a student for a mistake done because I believe mistakes will be lessons learned.
I'm friendly, easygoing and a very patient teacher I want to be able to establish a natural connection with my student where he or she will be comfortable all throughout the class.
I really look forwa...

Hi! My name is Maria Del Mar… 100% Colombiana, (you can tell I’m latina because my name has more than one word!) and do not worry I know language learning is hard enough, so you can call me Maria for short!
.
I was born in a small city you have probably never heard of, Mocoa, Colombia, but now reside in Medellin, the Colombian city that EVERYONE has heard of.
.
During the past five years I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Spanish to over 250 students, from beginners to the most advanced and I’ve given individual classes to high ranking business and government executives.
.
Throughout my years of teaching, I’ve noticed similarities and challenges between students:
.
The number 1 struggle with language learning is anxiety. I do know how difficult it can be learning a new language. I’m sure you’ve heard others, or maybe even told yourself that “Language learning is not for me.”, but chances are you can speak at least ONE language, (unless you were born in the jungle, but even then I’m s...

I am spaniard, from Valencia city at the Mediterranean cost. I moved in Canada 5 years ago and started to teach Spanish. I got the ELE certificate validated by The Cervantes Institute as I actually enjoyed by teaching and decided to make it my future career. I do 100% Spanish classes using enjoyable tools for the students have fun while learning. Specially for beginners some English support is required, so I do it. I consider my teaching skills are quite good because of the results and feed back. Same happened when I taught Gemology for 20 years in Spain. I adapt my method to the student's personality and/or needs. I always try to go over every language learning area: Listening, Reading, Writing , and emphasizing the Speaking, which is the most difficult to improve alone. I have experiance in teaching Spanish for every level from A1 to C1 and for all kind of purposes. Depending on the student goals, I prepare grammar power point to help, do exercises, records, videos, media, per...
