Hello, my name is Andrea and I am a native Italian from Rome. I am a professional Italian teacher, I love my job and I love to meet and teach people connecting from all over the world. I lived almost my entire life in my beautiful city, Rome, but I also lived abroad in Los Angeles and London for several years in the past. Abroad I started to give individual and group Italian lessons in person to foreigners. I have been teaching Italian to foreigners for many years now (since 2013).
I am a professional native Italian teacher with years of Italian language teaching experience, graduated from University of Rome, La Sapienza University in 2008.
I started to work as a freelancer teacher abroad in London and LA. Today I am teaching mostly online, I’ve been working with the most popular websites like Verbling, where I accumulated thousands of hours of lessons which I can prove easily with a certificate. My students have always shown me gratitude for my work, I am so happy for their success and I am proud of their hard work and achievement. You can read their reviews and comments about my work.
I teach all ages and all levels. I teach children, students at school and university, professionals working in big companies, artists and even foreign teachers. I also teach native Italian speakers how to get rid of their accent and dialect. With me the student can learn every aspect of the Italian language: grammar, reading, writing, oral and written production, listening, they can practice written and oral comprehension during conversation and improve their pronunciation with me. I am also an expert of the standard Italian diction, which is not usual for standard Italian teachers. I have had and I still have lots of students coming from all around the world, from places like US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, UK, Russia, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Malesia, New Zealand, Australia and more.
