Learn Japanese with laughter! Many students start speaking in just 3 months. 【My lessons are ideal for students who are:】 ・Absolute beginners (No worries if you know nothing about Japanese! Within about three months, most of my students can handle basic Japanese conversations. I focus on understanding and using Japanese naturally, not memorizing fixed phrases.) ・Self-taught students who want to take the next step ・Planning to study, work, or live in Japan in the future ・Foreigners currently living in Japan ・Students preparing for JLPT N5–N4 ・Students who want to practice speaking and conversation in Japanese (output) 【Lesson style】 ・Textbook (I use Genki I & II (3rd edition)) ・Conversation-based lessons If you have something specific you want to learn, just tell me! 【Japanese Level】 Beginner to Intermediate 【Age】 12 years old and above ✔about me I’m a native Japanese speaker. Hi, ともこです。I'm an experienced Japanese teacher and also a Japanese calligraphy artist.I was born and grew up in Japan, and I have been living in Australia for about 8 years. I love the beaches and natural landscapes here! . I used to work at schools teaching English in Japan, and teaching Japanese in Australia. I run Japanese calligraphy workshops in Australia, too. I'm fluent in English, and can help explain Japanese grammar and vocabulary - great for beginners and for tricky advanced topics! . I have been teaching Japanese for the past 6 years, and have helped my students at all levels - basic to advanced, including business Japanese. My classes are usually conversation-based and customised to my students' language needs, whether it be grammar, idioms, vocabulary, or pronunciation. . If you have something specific you need to prepare for, such as an upcoming interview or presentation, I can definitely help you with that! I am also happy to answer any questions you have about mate...

こんにちは。🌸 Konnichiwa! 🌸 Are you interested in the Japanese language/culture or planning to go to Japan? I am an experienced and qualified Japanese language teacher. I've been teaching the Japanese language as a second language since 2008. I studied English and am currently learning Italian, so I know exactly what the challenges (and rewards!) of learning languages are like. 👩‍🎓📕✏️ I love teaching as it is great to meet people, and get to know my students and their cultures. Also, it's amazing to see the students improve their Japanese language abilities and be able to communicate in Japanese. I have taught from complete beginner to beyond JLPT N1 level. A little bit about myself: I like playing video games & board games & card games, watching movies & anime, eating, and traveling. Also, I love my two Japanese Spitz. 🐶💖🐶 NOTE: If you're interested in working with me, please book a 30-minute trial lesson first. Also, I would love to hear about your language goals (or anything else you ...

こんにちは。I'm a native Japanese speaker. I live in Osaka. I am a mother of 2 kids. I attended Osaka University where I majored in Japanese teaching. In the university, I studied how to teach Japanese to foreign people. I think the most important thing is to relax and enjoy the lessons. After graduating, I worked for a localization division of a Japanese Game Publisher in Osaka for a period of 13 years. My duties involved the translation (from English to Japanese) of in-game content and manual booklets for more than 100 games. I understand there are many Japanese phrases that cannot be translated literally to your language. Also, Keigo (Honorific) may be complicating. I'd like to think with you what is the best way to learn the language for you. It may be to read Japanese manga (comic books), to watch Japanese movies, or to discuss some topics of Japanese newspapers.

Japanese is NOT just about words and grammar—it’s about PERSPECTIVE, CULTURE, and the STORIES behind it all. Too often, language is taught like a formula, disconnected from its DEEPER meaning. That’s why it feels confusing, why the rules don’t stick, and why it stops being fun. Does this sound familiar? ① Not knowing where to start ② Particles! ③ Conjugations ④ て-form Without cultural and historical context, particles feel random, formalities rigid, and expressions meaningless. In my lessons, I’ll help you see why Japanese works the way it does. Once you understand the “WHY,” everything clicks. It’s not just a language—it’s a way to think, connect, and experience life. Teaching Japanese is not my work, it is my PASSION. It always makes me very happy when I meet people who are interested in my language. I tailor my lessons to suit you! I prepare each class according to your language needs as well as your interests and personality. Me as a Teacher: I specialize in helping ...

*Currently I live in the Netherlands for my job. I am a certified Japanese language teacher and taught 1000 lessons and have 100 students over the world (including outside verbling), so you can have professional lessons. I used to hang out with super famous J-POP musicians. *I'm afraid I can't answer the question "who is the musician?' due to their privacy. But I can tell you anything except that (It's not that I was fan of J-POP but I can talk about what I saw; celebrity's life, fashion, how to make ideas, their strategy etc) I also translate subtitles for movies. **Trial lessons are for people who are interested in my regular lessons..** And we can focus on your personal goal from beginners to fluent speakers.I am new on verbling but have taught Japanese on other places and got a review as 'the best lesson I've ever had' from my student. For beginners I use teaching materials and focus on the Genki textbook. But I can customize the lesson without it. For JLPT I use a JLPT...
