Do you remember your first word?
5 years agoDo you remember the first word or sentence you learned how to say in a second language?
I think the first sentence I learned in a second language was, "Est-ce que je peux aller a la salle de bain?" I learned this in French in grade school. It means, "May I go to the bathroom?" I think I remembered this sentence because I used it a lot to get out of class. At the time, I didn't enjoy learning French.
