3 years ago Lantern Festival falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. This is the first full moon of the new year, symbolizing unity and perfection. Lantern Festival is an important part of Spring Festival.
On this day, people eat sweet dumplings for good luck and reunion. People perform many kind of shows to celebrate Lantern Festival, like Dragon dance, walking on stilts, land boat dance, and so on. All are very interesting.
This festival is a romantic day in ancient China. It also is Chinese Valentine’s Day.
